Caribbean Nazarene College adopts SENDAS Administration Model

On May 23 and 24, 2019, in Santa Cruz, Trinidad and Tobago, the Council of Regents of the Caribbean Nazarene College (CNC) met. The College’s President, Dr. Orlando Seale, invited SENDAS Administrative Vice-President, Rev. Mary Anáis Rojas, to present to the superintendents and lay delegates of the Caribbean Area the model used by SENDAS campus administration in Costa Rica, to generate local income.

SENDAS and Church of the Nazarene’s Florida district seal agreement

On February 25, 2019, an agreement between SENDAS and the Florida district of the Church of the Nazarene was signed. Through this joint effort, SENDAS will aid Hispanic students from ministerial centers in completing their Bachelor’s Degree in Theology with an emphasis on Pastoral Ministry.

Visiting the Northern District

SENDAS Hosts Second Regional Meeting for the Development of Wesleyan Writers in Mesoamerica

During May 9, 10 and 11, the Second Wesleyan Writers Development Workshop for the Church of the Nazarene in Mesoamerica was held at the SENDAS campus in San José, Costa Rica. There were 40 participants, including pastors and leaders representing six districts of Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica.

On February 15, 2019, SENDAS welcomed Jenny Diaz Moreno to the team as a volunteer missionary. Jenny was born in Nicaragua to Nazarene pastors and was involved in her local church from an early age. When she was 12 years old she received God’s call to cross-cultural missions.

On Monday, February 25, 2019, thirty-seven missionaries were commissioned as global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene. On February 4, 2019, we celebrated with gratitude the Ordination Service for the Central District of Costa Rica in the facilities of the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas. The service was directed by General Superintendent, Dr. David Graves and Mesoamerica Regional Director, Dr. L. Carlos Sáenz.
