On August 3rd, the Central District of Panama held a Pastor’s Seminar sponsored by SENDAS and the Central District of Panama with special assistance given by Rev. Edwin Martinez, the District Superintendent.  A total of 35 people were in attendance, including both pastors and leaders.

Rev. Franlym Pena from SENDAS shared a Biblical reflection on the topic of Characteristics of the Ministerial Call.  Associate Professor at SENDAS Silvia Fernandez gave the central teaching of the activity:  The Prophetic Role of the Pastor in Today’s Context.

We give thanks to God that the majority of the pastors of the district were present at this activity, as well as the Coordinators of the Educational Centers and district leaders from various ministries.  The activity ended with an altar call and prayer.  Many pastors took the challenge to begin the School of Leadership in their local churches as part of their commitment to discipleship of the believers.
