On Saturday July 29th, the first ever graduation in the Dominican Republic for the program Holistic Child and Adolescent Development was held.

The ceremony was part of the graduation for the Dominican Nazarene Seminary on the campus in Los Alcarrizos, located close to Santo Domingo, and in attendance was Dr. Dan Copp, the Educational Commissioner for the Church of the Nazarene. This was his first visit to the Dominican Republic, and he was invited to preach at the event.

The student Tania Nuez Nuez received the certificate in the Holistic Child and Adolescent Development. There are another 8 students who are currently studying in the program, which is offered completely online, and this program is a great blessing to the Church of the Nazarene.

This same day in the morning, Dr. Ruben Fernandez, Seminary President, shared a workshop about the virtues of the program and many testimonies were heard about the high quality of the professors and the difference this program is making on the island.

We give thanks to God for the Holistic Child and Adolescent Development program. If you would like to learn more about the courses offered in Spanish, click here:
