The Nazarene Seminary of the Americas (SENDAS), through an agreement with the Kansas City District (USA), celebrated the first graduation of their Bachelor’s of Theology with an emphasis on Pastoral Ministry for the district, on November 7, 2020.

SENDAS President, Dr. Rubén Fernández, opened the graduation event with greetings and congratulations from the campus in Costa Rica.

Kansas City District Superintendent Dr. Eddie Estep brought an inspiring and challenging message from the Word on: “Will you be the next Jeremiah we need?”

The graduation was dedicated to Dr. Mario and Rev. Ana Zani for their 50 years of ministry and their influence on education for the Hispanic communities where they served. Several pastors expressed their gratitude for their fruitful ministry.

Dr. Carlos Fernández, Kansas City District Spanish School of Ministry Director, led the group in the reading of the Act and Graduation Ceremony for 9 bachelors and 3 diploma in Pastoral Theology graduates, with the students successfully completing the required 134 academic credits. All of them received an Honorable Mention. Congratulations!

We thank God and everyone who made this dream come true. We make our own the words of the psalmist: “I will bless the Lord at all times; my lips will always praise him. Psalm 34: 1 NIV.
