On February 15, 2019, SENDAS welcomed Jenny Diaz Moreno to the team as a volunteer missionary. Jenny was born in Nicaragua to Nazarene pastors and was involved in her local church from an early age. When she was 12 years old she received God’s call to cross-cultural missions.

Jenny received a degree in psychology from UNAN in Managua, Nicaragua and with God’s help, she earned a masters degree in the Science of Religion with an emphasis in ministry to the family through UNELA in San Jose, Costa Rica while living on the SENDAS campus. She has completed additional studies at Central University in Nicaragua (managing trauma in sexual abuse) and in Tokyo, Japan (diploma in social development).

In 2018 God opened the door for Jenny to serve as the coordinator of the bachelors in pastoral theology program developed by STN in Guatemala. At SENDAS her work will include working in the library as well as assisting the academic office.

Jenny shares her enthusiasm in joining the SENDAS team, “It is a privilege, a blessing and very significant for me to be able to serve at SENDAS, alongside a team that has as its focus the mission and call of the Lord working toward the development of theological education with the goal of building up the church through discipleship. This is the beginning of a new stage in my life of ministry and my greatest desire is to glorify Him through my service.”

We welcome Jenny to our team and look forward in sharing this part of her ministry journey.
