In the recent Assembly for the North District of California (NorCal), a two-way agreement was signed with the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas – SENDAS.
The NorCal district will contribute with Work and Witness teams to SENDAS and cooperate in ministry projects in Costa Rica for the next five years, and SENDAS will provide courses by videoconference to the Hispanic leaders and pastors in the NorCal district through the Bachelor program in Pastoral Theology. A long and fruitful relationship is anticipated between the two entities that will surely exceed the expectations of both parties.
The partnership was signed on May 11, 2017 by Rev. Gary Moore, District Superintendent, Rev. Joseph Shreffler, NMI President, and Dr. Ruben Fernandez, Seminary President.
We give thanks to NorCal and especially to the Lord for agreements of this kind that truly reflect what the Kingdom of God is all about: each one giving their best for the benefit of the people of God and in this way the name of God is magnified.
