In July and August, SENDAS offered a continuing education course by videoconference called Let the Children Come to Me. It was held on Monday nights for five weeks. The focus of the course was Biblical and theological keys to ministry with children and youth.

There were three outstanding speakers for the course: Harold Segura, Alexander Cabezas, and Enrique Pinedo. They are all members of the Children and Youth Movement in Latin America.

There were forty participants in the course from Puerto Rico, Mexico and Costa Rica, representing seven educational centers.

Pastor Honri Morales from the San Pablo de Heredia Church says, “This was my first experience taking a videoconference course and it was very well presented and the professors were very clear in their teaching. This topic is very important, especially in today’s world. For sure, it is a challenging part of my ministry.”

The next Continuing Education course will be Holistic Church Development offered in October and November 2016. The course will be taught on Monday evenings from 6 pm to 8 pm (Costa Rica time, GTM -6) and the cost is $20 USD. More information about the course will be offered on SENDAS’ Facebook and website.
