On the 28th of March, SENDAS led a workshop directed to the professors, educational coordinators, pastors, students and district leaders of the North District of Costa Rica. This workshop was delivered by videoconference to 60 leaders in five different sites.

The workshop speakers were Dr. Monica Mastronardi and Dr. Ruben Fernandez. The workshop covered topics such as the parameters, techniques and methods for preparing and developing a ministerial course when utilizing the technology of videoconference. One of the iniciatives of SENDAS is to continue this type of training to strengthen the theological programs.

The North District of Costa Rica is the first district in the Central Field to connect all their educational centers by videoconference, which has made the development of this training possible. The centers are located in Muelle, Liberia, San Pedro de Poas, Upala, and Ciudad Quesada.

SENDAS will continue to develop these educational workshops by videoconference for professors and leaders as more and more districts connect to the network. We give thanks to God for the resources available today for theological education.
